Rekombinantti XD ja rekombinantti XF ovat BA.1 ja delta-linjan rekombinaatioita.
XD on Delta-peräisen linjan ja Tanskan ja Ranskan BA:1 linjan rekombinaatio. Tästä ei vielä löydy enempiä tietoja kuin se, että 22 näyteen perusteella on voitu hahmottamaa tämä XD varianttimuoto.
XF on Deltan ja BA.1 UK-linjan jokin rekombinaatiomuoto ja se on määritelty 34 nöytteen perusteella.

Note: It is expected that our understanding of the impacts of these variants may fast evolve, and designated Variants under Monitoring may be readily added/removed; therefore, WHO labels will not be assigned at this time. Former VOIs/VOCs may, however, be monitored for an extended period under this category, and will maintain their assigned WHO label until further notice.

Onkohan deltaomikron (deltakron) elinkykyinen uusi rekombinantti, nähtäneen kevään kuluessa.
Täytyy kai edelleen katsoa niitä proteiini-proteiini-interaktioita, joita sars-2 virus pystyy tekemään ihmisen proteiinien kanssa, sillä voi olla kesemmällä kuitenkin uutta pandemia-aaltoa ja uusia piirteitä.
Nyt sununtai-iltayöstä katselin kertauksena asiaa mitokondriasta ja tumasta proteiinisynteesin teiden kannalta.
Miten vastasyntyneet proteiinit kulkeutuvat mitokondriaan? Mitokondrain funktioon ja rakenteeseen tarvitaan n 1500 erilaista proteiinia, niistä vain 13 koodautuu mitokondriaalisella DNA:lla ja muut koodautuvat tuman DNA:sta. Siis niiden täytyy kulkeutua sisälle mitokondriaan, jota ne pääsevät rakentumaan tai toimimaan siinä.
Tiedetään että Sars-2 tekee interaktioita useisiin mitokondriaproteiineihin. Mm. TIM ja TOM -proteiiniperheiden joihinkin jäseniin.
Löysyin yksinkertaisen kuvan netistä ja selityksen vuodelta 2010 kuudesta proteiinien mitokondriaan translokoitumisjärjestelmästä. Artikkeli keskittyi lähinn pääjärjestelmään tai dominoivaan järjestelmään TIM23.

The study was conducted when the Alpha variant was dominant in Britain and is unlikely to include anyone infected with the Delta variant.
COVID-19 can cause the brain to shrink, reduce grey matter in the regions that control emotion and memory, and damage areas that control the sense of smell, an Oxford University study has found.
The scientists said that the effects were even seen in people who had not been hospitalized with COVID, and whether the impact could be partially reversed or if they would persist in the long term needed further investigation.
"There is strong evidence for brain-related abnormalities in COVID-19," the researchers said in their study, which was released on Monday.
Even in mild cases, participants in the research showed "a worsening of executive function" responsible for focus and organizing, and on an average brain sizes shrank between 0.2% and 2%.
The peer-reviewed study, published in the Nature journal, investigated brain changes in 785 participants aged 51–81 whose brains were scanned twice, including 401 people who caught COVID between their two scans. The second scan was done on average 141 days after the first scan.
The study was conducted when the Alpha variant was dominant in Britain and is unlikely to include anyone infected with the Delta variant.
Studies have found some people who had COVID suffered from "brain fog" or mental cloudiness that included impairment to attention, concentration, speed of information processing and memory.
The researchers did not say if vaccination against COVID had any impact on the condition but the UK Health Security Agency said last month that a review of 15 studies found that vaccinated people were about half as likely to develop symptoms of long COVID compared with the unvaccinated.

Omikronin päälinjat ovat BA.1, BA.2 ja BA.3. Kaiken kaikkiaan pandemiaa hallitseva omikron osoittaa maailmassa otteensa irtoamista kansoista, BA.1 ja BA.1.1 käyrät ovat laskuun päin. . Hieman vielä BA.2 nostaa esiintymislukuaan ja BA.3 tuottaa vielä jotain jälkikasvua eikä suostunutkaan täysin katoamaan. Globaalinen tartuntaluku on 445 096 612 varmistettua tapausta.Covid- kuolemantapauksia 5 998 301. (Lisätieto 3/22 : Todellisen mortaliteetti uvun arvellaan olevan kolminkertainen). Ukrainan kriisin ja pakolaisten valtavan määrän vaikutus Euroopan pandemiseen tilanteeseen näkyy vasta parin viikon päästä.
